Into the Now
Life is dynamic. The only constant is change. If we practice to live in the now with complete awareness we tap into the connection with that dynamic constant. The veil of the egoic mind must first be lifted in order to be fully present in the now. So how do we go about doing this? The same way we get to Carnegie Hall...practice.
We go about our daily lives thinking of past and future, and only pay minimal attention to what is right in front of us. It is the only real life we will ever have, but we miss it as we are consumed with our egoic thoughts, fears, projections, and emotions. If we can learn to let go of our minds, and find our true selves, we can begin to live free, authentic, and rewarding lives. The kind of lives we didn't know were possible.
All we need to do is start practicing right here, right now. Take a deep breath, relax your body and mind, clear you thoughts and set your intention to be present as you sit here reading this. Look at the picture of the rocks in the stream. Be the stream. Flowing, dynamic and free. Let your thoughts drift through your awareness and keep going on by. Experience the now without thought. Experience your true self.
